Powerlink Cable
POWERLINK cables are for connection to BeoLab speakers.
These cables are round and have 8 small plugs, also called DIN8.
B&O calls these cables Powerlink.
These cables originate from most, currently the older speakers,
BeoLab Penta/1/2/3/4/5/7/9/10/11/2500/3000/4500/5000/6000/8000/8002/4002
We supply 2 kinds of colors and thicknesses,
3.5mm and 5.5mm.
3.5 mm thick 8 x wired (Suitable for all BeoLab speakers)
5.0mm thick 8 X wired shielded (Suitable for all BeoLab speakers)
Shielded cables are extra shielded, which reduces noise and hum.
and different lengths from 50 cm to 25 meters.
Differences in MKI 2 and MK3 cables,
MKI is wired 4 x, often a thin cable, the first series of B&O(not for penta/3000/4500/5000)
MKII is wired 8 x and works on all speakers with a DIN8 connection.(also for penta/3000/4500/5000)
MKIII is wired 5 x, this cable is 2.5 mm thick, It is not used much due to malfunctions.(not for penta/3000/4500/5000)
We sell the MKIII cable because of its versatility and reliability, even at longer lengths it continues to provide good images
