Stereo trigger to DIN8 female cable – 12V safe for Bang & Olufsen Beolab

This stereo trigger to DIN8 female cable is specially designed for safely driving Bang & Olufsen Beolab speakers via receivers and streamers with a 12V DC trigger output.
The cable features an integrated resistor that converts the 12V trigger signal to 4.5V,
exactly what Beolab speakers require.
This prevents damage to the Beolab electronics and ensures the speakers switch on and off safely and automatically.
The 3.5 mm mini-jack connects to the 12V DC-Out (trigger) of a receiver or streamer.
The DIN8 female connector accommodates one Powerlink cable.
Two Beolab speakers (left and right) can easily be connected using a Powerlink Y-cable.
This solution ensures that the Beolab speakers activate automatically as soon as the receiver or streamer is switched on, and switch off again when turned off. 12V trigger - 4.5V protected signal

Humming or noise over the trigger connection?

Try placing this cable between the trigger; it disconnects the ground.

This cable does not work with the Beolab 5, 50, and 90.

The USB Trigger to DIN8 Female is a compact adapter cable that uses USB output signals to activate Beolab speakers.
A standard 8-pin (DIN8) female connector to connect existing Powerlink cables and the mini-jack to transmit hi-fi sound to the Beolab.

Do you have Bang & Olufsen (B&O) Beolab speakers and do you want to connect them to a laptop, PC, or TV with a headphone jack?
With this cable, you can easily use your existing Beolab speakers with modern devices.

Connect the USB plug to the USB port of your laptop, PC, TV, or iMac. Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug into the headphone output.
The DIN connector (female) is intended for the Powerlink cable that goes to your Beolab speaker.
From this speaker, you can then daisy-chain a second Beolab speaker.

If you want to connect two Powerlink cables directly, you need a Powerlink Y-cable.

Important when using with a TV:
On some Philips TVs, the headphone output volume can only be adjusted via the menu and not with the remote control.
And on Sony TVs, power often remains on the USB port, preventing the speakers from turning off automatically.
In that case, you must manually turn off the speakers or disconnect the USB connection.

Please note: these cables do not work with the Beolab 5, 50, and 90, nor, of course, with the Beolab 3500 / Beolink Passive or lab2000.

Trigger hum or noise often occurs when connecting a cable to a receiver, especially with certain brands such as Marantz, Denon, and Rotel.

This Trigger Power Adapter solves the problem of hum and interference by galvanically isolating the receiver's ground.
This adapter is intended exclusively for connection to a Trigger output / DC-12V connection.
This grounding cable has been specially developed for use in combination with our trigger cables,
And is only suitable for the trigger cables available through our webshop.

This cable allows you to use the Trigger Splitter to power up to 6 Beolab speakers using only 1 Trigger output from the amplifier/receiver.
By connecting this cable to the Trigger output and plugging all other trigger plugs into it, the amplifier will switch on the B&O speakers.

Humming or noise over the trigger connection?
With this cable, that is a thing of the past.

Powerlink Y-Cable.
Used to create 2 connections from 1.
The BeoCenter 2 has 1 connection; with this Y-cable, you create 2 connections to connect 2 Beolab speakers.
Also suitable for Beolab speakers with 1 connection for daisy-chaining, e.g. Beolab3/Beolab8000.
This cable is compatible with our trigger cables, which also have 1 connection.

If you need more connections, the 1-to-5 adapter can be a solution.

Y-cable length approx. 30 cm and 3.5 mm thick, unshielded.

If you have a receiver with 230V out, you can generate a trigger yourself with the 230V adapter to USB and this USB to Minijack.

The USB 2.0 Male Adapter (both sides) is required for this; otherwise, it will not fit into a USB charger.

You can connect 2 Powerlink cables to this.
In this set, you are buying 1 USB cable with 1 Powerlink Y-cable.

How it works:
Connect the USB (trigger) cable to the USB output of the TV (0.5V Trigger), connect the 3.5 mm mini-jack to the headphone output, and then insert the Y-cable into the female connector of the cable.
Now you can connect 2 Powerlink cables to your existing Beolab speakers.

The USB cable is also suitable for connecting a PC / iMac with a built-in sound card.
